Tianjin Eye

I’ve been on plenty of ferris wheels around the world, but this one is special. Being suspended over a river makes the whole experience feel different. We lucked out with a clear day and could see for miles. The ride is long enough to really enjoy your time up there, and buying tickets in advance saved us from a long wait. Loved every second of it!

Tianjin Eye is iconic for a reason. I love that it sits right on the bridge over the river – it gave the ride such a unique perspective. We went at sunset and watched the sky shift from gold to pink to deep blue over the city. The capsule was comfortable and air-conditioned, and despite the busy crowd, the line moved faster than expected. A must-do if you’re visiting Tianjin.
