Honestly, I expected more for the price. Longtou Mountain is scenic, no doubt, but the resort feels like it's stuck in the 2000s. The cable car was shaky and the windows were dirty — hard to take good photos. The 'night light show' was just a few colored LEDs on the rock face, pretty underwhelming. Also, the restrooms near the summit were filthy. For a so-called 'international' resort, the service level needs a major upgrade. Might be better for a quick stop if you're nearby, but I wouldn't drive 2 hours just for this.
What a hidden gem! I came here on a whim after reading a blog post, and it exceeded expectations. The forest trail leading to the waterfall is magical — dappled sunlight, bird songs, and almost no other tourists in the early morning. I loved that they kept the natural rock formations untouched instead of adding fake decorations. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the lack of clear English signage for international visitors; I got lost twice trying to find the exit. Still, a memorable adventure!
I’ve been to plenty of mountain resorts, and Longtou Mountain stands out for its well-maintained infrastructure. The glass skywalk was thrilling — not too long but enough to get your heart racing. The staff at the ticket booth were friendly and gave us a map with recommended routes. The food court had decent noodles, though prices were steep (¥45 for a bowl). Overall a solid 4/5 experience; would be perfect if they added more shaded rest areas.
Nice place for a day trip but honestly a bit overhyped. The mountain itself is beautiful, but the resort feels overly commercialized — too many souvenir stalls and loud music near the base. The hot spring area was decent but overpriced for what you get (¥188 per person). Also, the shuttle bus between attractions runs infrequently; we waited 25 minutes. If you're okay with crowds and a bit of a tourist trap vibe, it's still a pleasant outing, just don't expect a wilderness escape.
Absolutely stunning views from the top of Longtou Mountain! The cable car ride was smooth and gave us a perfect panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. We spent a good 3 hours hiking the upper trails — well-marked paths and plenty of photo ops. The only downside was the crowded parking lot even on a weekday, but the resort staff were quick to guide us. Totally worth the entrance fee. Will come back in autumn for the foliage!
